One of the best on-camera classes in LA! Todd Rohrbacher is an incredible teacher with great insights, especially when it comes to acting for sitcoms. You get to work 2-3 times per class, you get great feedback and tips, and then you review your performance afterward to see how you look on camera. AND, class is a blast in a half; I laugh more in this class than I do at some comedy clubs. Class at ACS is one of the few I recommend for actors here in Los Angeles.Patrick Donahue
I find a lot of teachers can tell you what’s wrong with your work but don’t neccessarily tell you HOW to fix it. Todd did both. It is for this reason I will continue to pursue Todd for ongoing instruction for my biggest passion in life which is Comedy. If comedy is your passion as an actor I reccommend to pursue Todd as well.Raymond Morris
At Actors Comedy Studio, we do something new and exciting every class. Todd always thinks about what will be useful in our day to day lives and auditions and we will revolve a whole class around something he thinks we need to focus on. If I ever stop taking his class for even 2 weeks, my acting and my happiness in life declines. He is now looking for new and creative ways to help his students succeed besides just teaching them acting.Shannon Kingston
If you’re not studying with Todd Rohrbacher over at ACS, I honestly think you’re not entirely living up to your potential. Todd’s ability to individually coach and teach his students, while in a group setting, is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. People leave his class feeling encouraged and nurtured and CHALLENGED, and very much like they’re on the road to being the best performer they can be. I said it earlier, and I’ll say it again: you should be studying with Todd. Highly recommended.Matthew Swanson
I have had the pleasure of participating in several of Todd’s classes. His outstanding teaching ability is matched by his personal interest in his students. He knows the business and the craft, enabling those under his guidance to achieve goals beyond their expectations. Todd has created a very positive change in my career.Kate Linder
Coming from NY, and having most of my experience be from the stage, I needed to find a studio where I could work on my on-camera technique. Not only did I find that at ACS, I found so much more! Every class is on camera and we get to watch back all the work we do in class. I would recommend this studio to anyone at any level because Todd can truly help actors who have the drive to become successful.Kim Vasilakis
Last year, after over a decade slowly building my acting career, I booked my first SAG-AFTRA co-star role. I directly attribute my current success as a working actor to the lessons I learned from Todd. Though his class focuses on comedy, Todd knows it’s not enough to be funny. His class builds comic actors by focusing first on acting fundamentals, in a manner that is not only comprehensive and easy to understand, but easy to implement. Most importantly, I’ve learned to trust the preparation I do before an audition, so that I can relax into my best self during the audition.Clint Tauscher
I am writing this review on the Comedy Cast Intensive I had with Todd and Dorian Frankel. This class is amazing. You learn so much about yourself, comedy, the casting process, and auditioning all in those five hours. It could save you years of heartache and problems.Mickey Casab
I recently had an audition for a comedic role in a feature film. They told me that the improv trained actors they had seen the day before were just “too big” and over-the-top. The director came in had me do the scene, laughed and asked me to try a different way and then said that was great and asked me if could wait so they could bring in the producer. My training with Todd gave me the confidence, skill and practice to work each audition and be funny over and over again. I walked out of that audition feeling like a winner.Vanessa Mesia
Whether it’s an audition or a cold reading, I have confidence. I feel prepared. Todd has given me several tools to quickly break down a script. It is such a relief to be prepared and look intelligent in the audition room. I can stop winging it now. I can’t thank him enough.Lindy Loundagin
