At Actors Comedy Studio, we do something new and exciting every class. Gunnar always thinks about what will be useful in our day to day lives and auditions and we will revolve a whole class around something he thinks we need to focus on. If I ever stop taking his class for even 2 weeks, my acting and my happiness in life declines. He is now looking for new and creative ways to help his students succeed besides just teaching them acting.Shannon Kingston
LA is a great place filled with opportunities, and chances for actors, but at the same time you could easily get lost in all of it. It has only been less than a month since I’ve started attending Gunnar’s class at the Actors Comedy Studio and it has been a wake up call experience. I feel very focused and have a clear sense of direction of my future acting career. If you feel lost or you don’t know where to start, this is the place to go!Mariko Miyamitsu
Coming from NY, and having most of my experience be from the stage, I needed to find a studio where I could work on my on-camera technique. Not only did I find that at ACS, I found so much more! Every class is on camera and we get to watch back all the work we do in class. I would recommend this studio to anyone at any level because Gunnar can truly help actors who have the drive to become successful.Kim Vasilakis
There hasn’t been a single audition I’ve gone into as a professional in which I haven’t employed the lessons I’ve received from Gunnar. I can’t recommend him enough.Henry Watkins
Run don’t walk to sign up at ACS! You get a taste of all the following in Gunnar’s classes: cold reading, audition technique, scene study, TV single camera, TV multi-camera, improv, film comedy, basic scene study, character analysis, etc. We also celebrate good news and share helpful info on the biz each week before class starts. It’s really a supportive environment, and I’ve made my best friends in LA through these classes. What a great feeling to be part of a group where you are learning, growing and being with people you respect and love to be around. Oh, and most importantly, laughing your ass off!Robin Phelps
Gunnar Todd Rohrbacher has the experience and the know how to teach you your own strengths. He gives you an edge in this industry by refining what you do best. This isn’t an “acting methodology.” It’s a training ground for brilliance.Byrne Offutt
In today’s industry, actors must wear a number of hats: producing, directing, editing, writing, etc., all in addition to honing their other acting-related skills. At ACS, you get not only incredible comedic training, but also the encouragement and skills needed to push past the overwhelming business aspects of “the biz,” to create, produce, and market your own work. I earned my BFA in Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and even though my training there was top-notch, I can confidently say that my training with Gunnar Todd Rohrbacher at ACS has been equally as effective and beneficial, if not more. Not only is Gunnar a comedic genius and a fantastic teacher, but he is also an incredibly compassionate human being and 100% committed to every student he teaches.Allison Oliver
Gunnar Todd Rohrbacher at Actors Comedy Studio has really helped me gain confidence and become the actor I am today. Gunnar takes time each class to give individual attention to all of his students and has helped me figure out my type, and exactly where I fit in out in the acting world. Not only is Gunnar an amazing teacher but also he is a great person that I have always felt has had my absolute best interest at heart!Chelsea Gross
Recently took the Comedy Intensive with Gunnar Todd Rohrbacher and Dorian Frankel at ACS. What a great experience, they really know they’re stuff, and if you’re looking to get you Comedy chops polished, this is the event to attend! You work many times in this Intensive, and having Casting Director Dorian Frankel give her insight into the casting process, is extremely helpful. Take the Intensive, you’ll be glad you did.Alex Ball
Gunnar has created an amazing studio where actors can come together to learn craft and business skills, find their unique ‘funny’, and grow as artists and professionals in a supportive community. I am so grateful to Gunnar for his expertise and amazing insight. His classes and private coaching have been instrumental in my acting career. He has helped me to build a resume with TV Comedy credits I am incredibly proud of. His feedback is honest but always given with kindness and compassion. I look forward to continuing my personal and artistic growth with Gunnar as a teacher, mentor and true artist.Mary Passeri
