I love working with Gunnar. He empowers me to make strong, creative choices while still honoring my own unique voice. He also knows the business, its trends and what is needed when I walk into a room. I don’t audition without him!Elaine Hendrix
Gunnar Todd Rohrbacher is an amazing teacher. Not only is he a genius when it comes to comedy, but he is a very caring human being. He’s the first teacher I’ve met who is not on a power trip or into tearing students down. He truly wants his students to succeed as actors.Damon Kohli
Last year, after over a decade slowly building my acting career, I booked my first SAG-AFTRA co-star role. I directly attribute my current success as a working actor to the lessons I learned from Gunnar Todd Rohrbacher. Though his class focuses on comedy, Gunnar knows it’s not enough to be funny. His class builds comic actors by focusing first on acting fundamentals, in a manner that is not only comprehensive and easy to understand, but easy to implement. Most importantly, I’ve learned to trust the preparation I do before an audition, so that I can relax into my best self during the audition.Clint Tauscher
I have never met anyone who has a more perfect understanding of comedy than Gunnar. My confidence in my acting has improved drastically and I landed commercial and theatrical representation as a result of one of the Studio’s showcases! I’ve also found that students in this Studio are very motivated. I’ve never been around so many people who are constantly producing their own content.Amanda Nix
One of the best on-camera classes in LA! Gunnar Todd Rohrbacher is an incredible teacher with great insights, especially when it comes to acting for sitcoms. You get to work 2-3 times per class, you get great feedback and tips, and then you review your performance afterward to see how you look on camera. AND, class is a blast in a half; I laugh more in this class than I do at some comedy clubs. Class at ACS is one of the few I recommend for actors here in Los Angeles. Patrick Donahue
I love ACS. Thanks, Gunnar! I can’t leave a class here without feeling energized and encouraged about my next audition. Instead of feeling unsure, I’m confident and motivated to keep plugging ahead no matter what the script, casting director or director throws at me in the room. I am prepared. That’s because Gunnar knows what he’s doing. In any given class we could work on script analysis, improv, with a partner, on our own audition style… but no matter what the focus is that day, you’re up in front of that camera and you’re watching yourself by the end of class. Who can’t learn from that?Caroline Timm
You are sitting in front of your computer right now, checking-out this website, contemplating the pursuit of a dream. You’re well aware of what your heart and your head and your gut have told you repeatedly – namely, become an actor. Guess what? Todd Rohrbacher will help you do more than sit and stare at a computer screen while know-it-alls like your heart, your head and your gut offer-up advice. Todd is a gifted, well-trained, experienced actor who will excite you, motivate you and assist you in honing the skills you need to make it as a working actor.Brain Frates
Run don’t walk to sign up at ACS! You get a taste of all the following in Gunnar’s classes: cold reading, audition technique, scene study, TV single camera, TV multi-camera, improv, film comedy, basic scene study, character analysis, etc. We also celebrate good news and share helpful info on the biz each week before class starts. It’s really a supportive environment, and I’ve made my best friends in LA through these classes. What a great feeling to be part of a group where you are learning, growing and being with people you respect and love to be around. Oh, and most importantly, laughing your ass off!Robin Phelps
I was fortunate to find Gunnar’s class two years ago after I’d graduated from an acting conservatory and had a good foundation, but needed to hone my comedic skills, type, and knowledge of the business. Not only did I find a supportive, yet challenging teacher, but I also found a group of highly motivated actors that I have since collaborated with. Gunnar’s classes are always a nurturing environment where you feel free to take chances. I’m excited about Actors Comedy Studio because it’s truly a community and is at the forefront of all of the new media changes in the industry. Instead of trying to catch up to the changes, we’re all carving our own paths.Abby Walla
Gunnar is an amazing teacher! He is so specific, and really helps each actor find their individual strengths. His insights are spot on, not only with comedy technique but especially when he breaks down scripts with you. His audition coaching has been excellent for me! His comedic sensibility is the best in town. The best.Susannah Hillard
