In today’s industry, actors must wear a number of hats: producing, directing, editing, writing, etc., all in addition to honing their other acting-related skills. At ACS, you get not only incredible comedic training, but also the encouragement and skills needed to push past the overwhelming business aspects of “the biz,” to create, produce, and market your own work. I earned my BFA in Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and even though my training there was top-notch, I can confidently say that my training with Gunnar Todd Rohrbacher at ACS has been equally as effective and beneficial, if not more. Not only is Gunnar a comedic genius and a fantastic teacher, but he is also an incredibly compassionate human being and 100% committed to every student he teaches.Allison Oliver

I have known, worked with, been directed by and laughed with Gunnar Todd Rohrbacher for over fifteen years. There is no one in the business of comedy with more chops, skills, and range of experience. He not only knows funny, he is funny, and he can teach funny. Here’s your challenge: do you have what it takes to listen to him and get your butt moving? Whether it’s an audition or a cold reading, I have confidence. I feel prepared. Gunnar has given me several tools to quickly break down a script. It is such a relief to be prepared and look intelligent in the audition room. I can stop winging it now. I can’t thank him enough.Lindy Loundagin
I was fortunate to find Gunnar’s class two years ago after I’d graduated from an acting conservatory and had a good foundation, but needed to hone my comedic skills, type, and knowledge of the business. Not only did I find a supportive, yet challenging teacher, but I also found a group of highly motivated actors that I have since collaborated with. Gunnar’s classes are always a nurturing environment where you feel free to take chances. I’m excited about Actors Comedy Studio because it’s truly a community and is at the forefront of all of the new media changes in the industry. Instead of trying to catch up to the changes, we’re all carving our own paths.Abby Walla
