I have had the pleasure of having Gunnar Todd Rohrbacher as my teacher for many years! He is crazy in tune with the world that is Television Comedy… and his knowledge, experience and humor makes him an excellent teacher! The quality of students at ACS is a testament to Gunnar’s hard work, intelligence, and passion for what he does! I know I can bring the funny but, with Gunnar as my teacher, I can bring it AND BOOK IT!Michael Piper-Younie
If you’re not studying with Gunnar Todd Rohrbacher over at ACS, I honestly think you’re not entirely living up to your potential. Gunnar’s ability to individually coach and teach his students, while in a group setting, is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. People leave his class feeling encouraged and nurtured and CHALLENGED, and very much like they’re on the road to being the best performer they can be. I said it earlier, and I’ll say it again: you should be studying with Gunnar Todd. Highly recommended. Matthew Swanson
They say it’s all about who you know… Well, ACS is where you make those contacts! Gunnar Todd is the main instructor and he’s very bright and his expertise goes way beyond breaking down a comedy script. What’s crucial about working with him is that he’s a working successful actor himself who BOOKS.George Jonson
I love working with Gunnar. He empowers me to make strong, creative choices while still honoring my own unique voice. He also knows the business, its trends and what is needed when I walk into a room. I don’t audition without him!Elaine Hendrix
Gunnar Rohrbacher is determined to make each student self-sufficient and responsible for their own actions in this new media-driven industry, and with the tools I’ve gained from Actors Comedy Studio, I truly feel I am ready to face it. I am proud to be associated with ACS, where I’ve found nothing but supportive, driven, like-minded friends.Sarah McLean
I recently had an audition for a comedic role in a feature film. They told me that the improv trained actors they had seen the day before were just “too big” and over-the-top. The director came in had me do the scene, laughed and asked me to try a different way and then said that was great and asked me if could wait so they could bring in the producer. My training with Gunnar gave me the confidence, skill and practice to work each audition and be funny over and over again. I walked out of that audition feeling like a winner.Vanessa Mesia
Gunnar has created an amazing studio where actors can come together to learn craft and business skills, find their unique ‘funny’, and grow as artists and professionals in a supportive community. I am so grateful to Gunnar for his expertise and amazing insight. His classes and private coaching have been instrumental in my acting career. He has helped me to build a resume with TV Comedy credits I am incredibly proud of. His feedback is honest but always given with kindness and compassion. I look forward to continuing my personal and artistic growth with Gunnar as a teacher, mentor and true artist.Mary Passeri
I was fortunate to find Gunnar’s class two years ago after I’d graduated from an acting conservatory and had a good foundation, but needed to hone my comedic skills, type, and knowledge of the business. Not only did I find a supportive, yet challenging teacher, but I also found a group of highly motivated actors that I have since collaborated with. Gunnar’s classes are always a nurturing environment where you feel free to take chances. I’m excited about Actors Comedy Studio because it’s truly a community and is at the forefront of all of the new media changes in the industry. Instead of trying to catch up to the changes, we’re all carving our own paths.Abby Walla
Last year, after over a decade slowly building my acting career, I booked my first SAG-AFTRA co-star role. I directly attribute my current success as a working actor to the lessons I learned from Gunnar Todd Rohrbacher. Though his class focuses on comedy, Gunnar knows it’s not enough to be funny. His class builds comic actors by focusing first on acting fundamentals, in a manner that is not only comprehensive and easy to understand, but easy to implement. Most importantly, I’ve learned to trust the preparation I do before an audition, so that I can relax into my best self during the audition.Clint Tauscher
Gunnar is an awesome coach. On top of being a proper professional with vast experience, he is quite inspiring and supportive. One of the most favourite learning experiences in acting I have ever had, and I have studied with wonderful teachers. Gunnar has a unique ability to see right through you and thus is able to fine-tune you in a very personalized way. If you haven’t yet – do yourself a favour and go see for yourself.Konstantin Lavysh
