Beth is best known as the creator, host and producer of the legendary UnCabaret, considered to be the original “alt-comedy show”. Most often recognized as the performance artist on Sex and the City.
She has shepherded UnCabaret through 27 years of innovation. She’s appeared in and produced UnCab for Amazon, Comedy Central, Pandora, audible.com and 27 years of live shows. And has been featured in and on and on CNN’s History of Comedy, PBS’s Women in Comedy.
Beth has also appeared on Will & Grace, The Today Show, Comedy Central’s Women Aloud, and Politically Incorrect. She has appeared in various indie films as an offbeat authority figure.
Beth’s also hosted a daily show for Comedy World Radio, hosted and produced The Other Network festival of pilots, and UnCab spinoff show Say The Word. She developed for Oxygen, WB and did a talk show pilot for MTV. She’s toured her a number of one woman shows extensively, her most recent opus:100% Happy 88% of the Time. Has played countless comedy clubs, and ran a campaign to make First Lady an elected position which was featured in People, Interview and on CNN.
Her writing has been published in O Magazine, Elle Décor, Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly (cover story), LA Yoga. Her first book “Did I Wake You: Haiku For Modern Living” was published by Soft Skull Press. And he one of a kind books have been exhibited at the Metroplitan Museum of Art’s Library.
